Sleeping pills could be hazardous to your health and may cause death from cancer, heart disease, and other illness. Generally, sleep medications are intended for short-term use. Like when you travel across time zones or when you are recovering from a medical procedure and you need all the z’s you can get to help you body regain its strength. But there are people who have become dependent on sleeping pills that they take it almost everyday to help them sleep. Sleep medication is not the solution. Sleeping pills are convenient way to fall and stay asleep. However it does not solve the underlying problem of why you have having trouble sleeping.
